I was in Hilo this weekend after my move and found a great A806 at Smiths junk pile. The drain hose was cut at the opening where it exits and there was a newer model (Dependable care)that had the same rubber hose intact that had been stripped prior to being placed in their junk pile too. So, I replaced the drain hose and will test it once it arrives here. The timer dial was on the "off" position and the tub and agitator were spotless.More details after this week.
