Lg

I have the same exact machine, it is a great machine! I love it, i perticulally love the jets in the front that recirculates the water and keeps clothes wet during the wash, it does one rinse on the turbowash cycle but it uses a good amount of water on the rinse, it fills up to the door, i had mine about 4 years now and not one problem.

Many thanks for the reply. Do you by chance have the sidekick as well? Can be had with this set for an additional $200. Just not sure if people find it of any value?

Also, noticed from another thread:

"it [the LG] is very sensitive to getting sudslocked, even with a full dirty load using one tide pod sometimes, my water is not soft eather, of course im sure alot has to do with it being a proctor and gamble product."

Is this a big deal with the 3770?

Seems like everyone gearing up to try the new SQ TL!

I have the same model but without the onboard heater and it works GREAT. Love the turbo wash feature and how short the cycles are. It gets stains out that I've had for years and my Frigidaire/Kenmore FL couldn't touch. The matching dryer is nice and quiet and dries very evenly. I don't have to shift or unball big blankets or sheets anymore. I have noticed that the oxy clean liquid detergent will suds a lot but luckily this machine lets you pick from 1, 2, or 3 extra rinses. My machine definitely does at least 2 rinses with turbo wash enabled, not sure what the commenter saying it only does one is talking about.

Sudslock

The sudslock issues are from the detergents, tide original he is good, oxiclean detergent and arm and hammer have zero suds i found, persil proclean and tide with downy suds sometimes.

LOVE TURBO WASH

i love the turbowash feature, i do wonder if this machine uses the 6 motion drum movement though or is that just stuck on there and it doesn't do it? I want the one in graphite color. This is one of the best front loaders you can buy for the money IMO. When you get yours, could you do some videos for us of the turbowash feature?

This is why

I'm potentially looking at LG for my next FL washer if/when my duet ever dies. The turbo wash (with heater) I'm glad it does more than one rinse in turbo wash. I was wondering the same thing when the commenter said that. Now, if Whirlpool or Maytag had a FL with something similar to turbo wash I'd get that...but they don't. I also hate the fact that they don't have an access panel on the front like LG does. That said, I trust Whirlpool more than LG because all my appliances are Whirlpool and I've rarely had problems.

So we did pull (or "pul" as my earlier typo) the trigger and bought the set. Was wondering, is there anything specific we should do to get the best out of this particular set? For anyone that owns these...

Favorite detergent (liquid vs powder, etc)?
Favorite cycles?

Thanks for any advice.
