The article states that it may have been drug related. I never heard of Heath being involved in that kind of stuff. I always thought of him being a "serious" actor with his eye on his craft.

Ledger was reported by friends to be struggling with depression and addiction. So sad. And kids, Amy Winehouse is probably going to be next. Crack, heroin and meth are bad, bad drugs, kids.
Wow. I've never even heard of this person before. I had to do a search to find out who he is. It is sad that he died so young and with what seemed to be such promise.
Just found out about this myself. Shocking and tragic. Although I'm curious myself, I wish the news people would not speculate on causes until investigation is done. All we know is that he had some sleeping pills on him, but so do a lot of people. My condolences to his family, in Perth, I believe. I enjoyed his work. I was/am looking forward to his version of "The Joker" in the next Batman movie.

I'm sitting here stunned. This is truly sad and shocking news. I feel really bad for his daughter. She'll not only have to grow up without a father, but she'll have no memory of him.
