I believe there was a proper dispenser at one time for this agitator. Not sure if you can still purchase it new or not. You may end up replacing the agitator with the hollow core model.

well, these agitators did have a softener dispenser available.....buts yours is from a commercial machine, and missing the top piece, wether its a bottom hub or not, it would still have to have this top portion for the dispenser to mount onto it...
finding the dispenser for this would be slim....always try ebay
but....if you have the agitator hub like this under yours.....
then you could get an agitator like this, with a pop on dispenser......
follow this link from a thread I did, and read thru all of the post.....using certain model numbers, thru Sears, you can get these agitators, caps, and dispensers rather inexpensively......we never could figure out why certain models numbers gave a lower price for the same part.....but who's to argue....it was a drastic price drop....

WWW.EASYAPPLIANCEPARTS.COM claims they still have the dispenser available....
but your gonna need the agitator cap as well, and mount it to the top of yours for this to work......most likely can be done......just have to think a little outside the box.....
use model number HA6000W.....they have it listed as an Amana machine.....but the parts work....
they are also showing the agitator for both tranny types.....I have the tall trans....you may have the short post version.....
check it out and se what you can find
