Advice needed from cat lovers

Hi everyone.

The neighbor's outdoor cat has gotten into the habit of using my front flower bed as a litter box.

This morning I was treated to a fabulous technicolor watery doodle (in odo-r-ama) right next to the front door. And I caught the B - - CH in the act.

So what do I put down on the soil to get her a@@ (HA literally) out of there!

Citrus? lemon? oranges? Vinegar.

Sure explains 4 foot tall tomato plants with bountiful "output" in the rear garden.

HELP!

Honestly, a little kitty poop never hurt any one!
Don't you hurt that Kitty!!!! In any major garden dept of
your local store are offered dry granular preparations
that will deter evacuating cats and dogs. Also try coffe grounds. Good luck!!

Kitty Problems

Toggle...I used to hear a few mothballs would deter most anything (human beings included, I am sure)...I do not think they will hurt the plants and I know an animal will not eat this by mistake.

Some cats hate Marigold Africans, if you plant them around the flower bed some stay away. If you catch the cat, just spray it with the garden hose, cats hate getting wet. A supersoaker comes to mind...

As the owner of many cats, I would advise you to try red cayenne pepper...keeps the peskiest of things OUT. That stuff is pretty cheap and goes a long way; the hotter the better. Sprinkle it liberally on your flower bed, and wait. Since cats generally sniff the ground before "digging their latrine", her nose will get a big surprise!

or pet stores. I've seen sensor activated sprinklers just for that purpose

Serously, I had this problem once with a house I bought. The neighbors were used to letting there dogs out to go where ever it wanted preferably after dark. How rude. Damn I got mad.

If your neighbor doesn't care about keeping the cat inside and away from the chance of getting feline lucemia, the cat is fair game. I like cats but... the spraying with a hose idea would work too. Chemical evaporate and get washed away in the rain.

The funny thing is, animals and small children generally like me (fabulous energy, what can I say) , adults are another story..

but "Clarissa" next door, now, she just won't have any part of me. See how she rewards me for my fondness? LOL LOL LOL
