AEG anti-vibration pads - Yes/No!?

Hi me again

Would these be handy / useful ? I’m more interested in protecting my new tiled floor than than their alleged anti-vibration properties - once in place would one be able to push the machine in underneath the countertop or will they be too “rubbery/sticky” to allow this and roll off the feet?

Not for me

I bought exactly those and tried them under an Electrolux washer (9 kg nominal capacity - for what it's worth - 1400 rpm spin speed) on a tiled reinforced concrete floor: absolute failure! Because they are somewhat elastic, the washer shakes much more than without them and makes much more noise.

In addition, they tend to stick to the tiles even more than the washer's feet, I had to soap the floor to push the washer back in its place.

Binned after the first wash.

@ Suds:

Do the current AEG washing machines still have the integral sprung foot? Or has that long since been banished?

Personally, I didn't find it any help in stabilising the machine at all.

No the feet are plastic screw in type - pretty basic

The AEG I had with the sprung foot, actually managed to swivel itself (on spin) in the floor space footprint. Periodically, I'd have to put the machine back.

The Zanussi which followed sat in exactly the same space, and never moved an inch.
