Hi all,

It seems everything is breaking!

Recently I noticed that my aeg 40760 dishwasher has stopped heating so I replaced the inline element and ran a cycle - it is still not heating!!
What do I do??

Thanks

Also I got given an aeg 888360 washing machine which I was told has a c6 error - what does this mean?
Thanks

Thanks!

I will check that tomorrow! - just a quick question where are the switches and sensors located?

Also with the dishwasher could it buy a temperature sensor or thermostat? - if so can i reset?

It could be cracked solder

Being part of  Electrolux, it is probable that it uses a similar timer to the Dishlex machines.

My DX302 also stopped heating water earlier this year and the fault turned out to be as simple as cracked solder under the small square/rectangle electronic relay. A touch of solder at each connection on this and voila - solved!

Ian

Is the dishwasher working correctly now?

I'd love to know how many Dishlex 302 et.al. have been junked because the service person quoted $200 for the part and $160 labor (callout fee plus total 45 minutes)?

Yes

The dishwasher is now working! Yay -thanks Ronhic!

I was not even sure it my solder would work but the machine goes great again!

Btw I did a diagnosis on the aeg washing machine (fault check mode) and fault cam up in woollens 40 - the c6 one , does this mean any thing in particular??

Thanks all

Ok...try this one

This is the last entry in the link.

Holding down Prewash and Stain buttons whilst turning programme knob to short spin cleared the fault code and now all fine'</span>
