Hey guys. Looking for advice on any tips on replacing paddles on an AEG washer. I’m looking to replace the new gen paddles with the old protex generation paddles as they’re much taller. It seems like there’s only plastic clips that hold both versions on but not sure the best way to remove them, especially without damaging the drum itself

Screws

I have taken a look at the AEG spare parts website, and it seems that there is only one type of paddle that needs a screw; for this type of paddle, the screw is sold together with the paddle.

However, if AEG uses a sealed drum (as I think they do) there would be no way to access the screws to install the paddles, which is why almost all the paddles in the AEG spare parts website have no screws

Please see the link below for help on removing AEG drum paddles. Both old and new type clip in. No screws involved. It looks a bit fiddly but there are pictures to help.
