The Cute Couple

What a super cute picture of you guys! Veg it looks like you did good! I'm happy for both of you. Boy what a difference a few weeks can make in this thread.

Veg, what a dynamite comouple y'all are. You are just beaming and glowing, I've never seen that expression on your face, and it makes my heart sing to the heavens with excitement. I think Keith should be named Sven myself. Very handsome, rugged man for sure!!!!! Keep us posted!!!!!

This is very interesting... Being of a younger generation than most of you guys, i still find it hard to find a Mr. Right.. I have been though a few hook ups... I also dated a guy who i met through church and he was great. However he and i were not on the same page.. He wanted to go into cross dressing and such and to "find" his true self.. I know who i am. My dad also set me up with one of his friends sons, who i liked, but he was too in the closet and too afraid of becoming outed to his rough tough bar hpping girl loving boys.. Yeesh.. I am not like plastering all over me, but i still am who i am.. I still wanna try to find some one. I don't mind having a rainbow bumper sticker on my exploder or on green bean (my truck).. I am going to start through some of the cannels mentioned. CM

Re: Affairs of the Heart

Hello everyone,

Just want to let you all know how much I enjoy this site.
I thought I was the only one on this earth who gets a thrill looking at
washing machines and dishwashers. My dad thought I was a little "queer" sitting in our neighbor's kitchen , watching
a front load washer doing laundry. (Westinghouse model). I
think I was about 7 (1964). My mom was still doing laundry
on a winger washer and I allways thought how back-breaking that was. She had to heat the water on the stove, fill the machine, take the clothes out on a line, even in bitter winter. So, when my brothers and I starting making money on our own, we purchased a new Whirpool washer and dryer set (1976). It was about that time that our mom was diagnosed with RA which damaged her hands and knees very bad.
What I really like about this site, is that we are one mind,
with a lot different interest. No one puts anyone down even it is a dump question (My big question is WHAT IN THE HELL IS A SUD SAVER on the washer and what is its' purpose)? Do modern washers have this today?
And yes, I am gay, and have been with my partner for more than
7 years. We did meet through the personals via the newspaper. He is the love and the man of my dreams who shares my oddness, just as I share his ways as well. I think what makes a good relationship is not to be too much alike. We both have slighly different interests such as sports (I don't like), I like to cook, he can't boil water. Also, you do have to have something more in common that just sex. During the 7 years, my partner has had some major health problem such as a heart attack and a minor stroke, which I play the role of caregiver partner. So,
those out there who are still looking, DON'T GIVE UP.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday!!
John

Finding Someone

You sound like a great guy! Been married for 26 years and met my husband when I least expected it. I believe that im many cases, love happens this way. You will find the right partner when you are not looking. As a result, some man will be very fortunate to have you. It's rare to find someone who has good old-fashioned values as you do, but it will be well worth the wait. Best wishes and much love!
