They're those good thick mugs that keeps the coffee warm.

Leftover coffee

The problem with the french press is it's a 6-cup maker which with our big coffee mugs turns it into a 2.5 cup maker. The C30C is 8 cups which gives enough for seconds. Those Waffle House mugs are small (6 oz) comared to the Pier 1 (8 oz, Une tasse) mugs that Helen bought.

If you want "hair-on-your-chest" coffee, definitely use the French Press. If you want good strong but smooth coffee... Sunbeam!

I have a Starbucks (made by Bodum) travel press as well as the 6-cup stainless one. I've had my eye on their glass one as well. I still miss my Bodum Santos stovetop vacuum pot but the Sunbeam really makes a good automatic cup of coffee.
