Hello,
I'd like to know the approxtamate age and the manufacturer of my kenmore wringer washer 110.6202300
Pictures will be posted upon request.
This is my first official wringer washer.

Hello Damien

You might want to clamp a small pair of vise grips on to the post. That way you can see if the wringer works. Your wringer looks similar to the one on Bradross' new find. Maybe he can tell you better what to do as he does his restoration.

So nice to see a pump and the rare 3 vane. Can't tell if your agitator is aluminum like Brad's or poly. More pix would be wonderful too. Good luck on starting your collection.

Mickeyd's post --- problem with the wringer?

I see from the pic that the wringer control lever is missing. Hope you can find a replacement somewhere. In the meanwhile, I guess you'll have to do like Mike says and use a pair of vice-grips or something similar to activate the wringer.

The wringer assembly on mine is quite different, as you can see from the attached photo.

I do know that the wringers work. the agitator I believe is a plastic , (I'll have to check again). I will want to save up and look for a wringer knob as it is listed as a dream machine.
I'll keep you guys posted.

Guessing that the missing part might be the same one on the side of Brad's wringer.

Maybe Brad or Jim can give you the part number from Jim's documents, at some point, and you'll have a better chance of finding it.

Glad to hear the wringer works. How 'bout the pump? And more pix. Thanks, Damien.

I don't

have an instruction manual or parts list for your model of Kenmore unfortunately. I have looked at the ones I have but since we have no pic of it I am not sure. All of my vivi-matic info has pics of chrome levers. I am not sure if they would fit yours if you could find one of them. It also appears that the ones I have pics of or diagrams of are held on with a pin. Good luck. If I run across anything I think may work I will get with you.

Jim

Just a hunch and some intuition ~

Hi Jim, Thank You. If you look at the first two pix of Brad's wringer in his thread, then pop over to this thread and look at Damien's wringer, you'll notice that the rollers, the opening or "mouth," and the feed tray are all an even match. Then if you study the side panel and the control lever, you might see where I'm coming from.

I have a hunch that Damien's control level will be the same as Brad's. So the part number for Brad's may work for Damien, and thus make it easier for him to find it.

Jim, I could be completely mistaken, and faulty eye-sighted, but please take another look, and see if you can envision the possibility.

The more men we have successfully wringing, the better. LOL.
