beautiful front, and no it's not a hydrosweep. the 14 was the last series before the hydrosweep was introduced. this one has the big blue cast iron spray arm.

there was no 13 series, guess the hobart family was superstitious.
 
Since that is the Imperial model, it has the detergent dispenser and the prewash features. This machine will wash well if you keep your water very hot, at least 140F, and draw the water to the sink before starting the cycle. If you have a long pipe run, purge the water until it's 140F again before the wash fill. We used to set our water heater at 160F in the 1950s and 60s, but about the hottest water you can get out of most water heaters today is 145F.

Insulate the tank of the dishwasher before you install it and, if you install it on an outside wall, put insulation between the wall and the dishwasher, all the way down to the floor. If it has a drain pump, be very careful not to crack the Bakelite housing when moving the machine.
