I'm needing an air-driven power nozzle that will fit a '70's Electrolux vacuum that does not have wiring for a powered nozzle. Any suggestions as where to look? I can't seem to find one.......
a low priced one from TTI if they sell one at Oreck stores (David's Vacuum now). TTI also owns Hoover, and Dirt Devil.
Miele makes one, but it costs more, and their machines are all more powerful than a 70's American E-lux.
A Turbocat nozzel made for a central vac will nmay not suffice, rather your E-lux won't run it very fast at all, but you can try it, and return it if not.
I have a Turbocat air-driven power nozzle that I bought from CentralVacuumSales.com. Their phone # is 1-800-322-2965. I don't know if it needs more power than your Electrolux can furnish, but you can ask the dealer. The brush turns very fast and, of course, the central vac power unit provides great suction so it cleans very well.
