Right away I have a dilemma. There are three round filters between the bag and the baffle within the canister. The question is regarding the correct order of assembly. The exploded-view diagram in the manual shows baffle:hepa:microbe:carbon:bag, while the prose description a couple of pages later says baffle:carbon:microbe:hepa:bag. (just the opposite) As received fresh from Talladega, it was baffle:carbon:microbe:hepa:bag. (corresponding to the prose) I have to believe that this order matters, so are you able to supply the correct info? I could not find any information on their web site, In the photo, left to right, are the carbon filter, the microbial filter, and the hepa filter. Thanks for your help.

In regard to your fabulous new Air-Way, (boy are you going to see a lot of dirt in the bag in the beginning!), the correct and recommend line of filters from the front to the rear blowing end is: HEPA, charcoal and then microbial.

I recommend and suggest to my customers to remove the microbial filter as I think it is overkill and reduces air flow. The wood pulp cellulose bag with the HEPA filter is superb filtering. The charcoal filter is primarily for odor control especially if you have a pet.

There is nothing worse than turning on a vacuum for fun or repair and thinking, "Wonder what kind of dog they have?", as soon as the exhausted air hits your nose. Air-Way has cured that with the charcoal filter and wood pulp cellulose bag.

Have fun with it and let us know how much you like/love/are impressed, etc. with it.
