All-Clad is made locally - This is my score from the factory seconds sale they have twice a year...

Went to the Crate on Greentree Road as it is closer to me. They are the only store that I am aware of that has the sale. I was able to go yesterday at 9:30 when they opened...

There is a better selection at the fairgrounds, but time didn't allow for me to go there...

i have AllClad

I got the Emrill set from HSN a a few years ago and I love it. Its the best pans I have used in my short life lol.

GAWD NO, they are JUST for PRETTY! They're SHINEY so I L

Actually I do quite well in the kitchen with no formal training...Except for an Italian grandmother that cooked all the time and an innate interest.

Nice Set of Cookware,

These are definitely a investment. These will be handed down from generations to come. I have only a AllClad skillet which was my late mother. I use this skillet almost every day.

Well, I went to the sale out at the fair grounds yesterday before work, I only bought two pieces from 2 different lines, and of course I chose the lines that are not dishwasher safe

I got a 1 quart saucier from the cop-r-chef line for $45, original price $187

Second piece was the 2.5 quart saucepan with lid from the LTD line for $70, original price $150 + $30 for lid, this is their hard anodized line

The sale is over now and I am kicking myself for going cheap and not picking up a 16 quart stockpot in the LTD line for only $135, oh well next sale.

Xraytech - What you got sounds great! Those are very useful additions...I use those size pots every day. Though, instead of kicking myself for going cheap, I over spent which I tend to do when I don't go with just cash. I really wanted the large stock pot and should have stopped there, but clearly I didn't...

AS Spiceman said, they are a lifetime investment and have held up very well except for the teflon skillet that the hubby used a spatula to scrape something out of. I was very fortunate that for the first 5 or 6 years of collecting All-Clad is what I got for Christmas and my birthday. This really helped me get the collection I have.
