Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Interesting....

I've seen damage to washers from bleach, and from prewash spray, but not detergent. It could
happen, but I have never seen it.

I've used All on and off for years, various liquid varieties, and the powder, and I haven't had any damage.

yes, I had a bottle that had been turned upside down to allow the last amount to drain into the cap. The cap was not on tight and it leaked onto the dryer top of a Maytag LDG412. It etched a spot in the top that I beleive is going to be permanent. I am going to try to use steel wool and lightly rub the spot. I have had good luck removing difficult spots from porcelain tops before using this method. And no it was not me that turned the bottle upside down. Just someone visiting for a year and a half. I was not happy when I found the spot on the dryer.

Was it regular liquid ALL or HE liquid ALL? I've used the HE version in the past and even with my very soft water, it didn't oversuds. However, the suds really hung in there through all the rinses...

Are you telling us your FL'er had a floor-washing spillover of suds, LOL?

sorry I forgot to put the rest of the message in

300 oz jug with dispenser spout
Regular ALL in the blue bottle
Says for all machines including HE

No not quite but if I use regular detergent it is about half full of suds and they won`t rinse out

tried it in the xqg50-11 which is my combo Haier

Great idea Bobby

I use Turtle Wax instant spray shine car wax on all appliances, kitchen counter tops, shower dorrs-everything but the Explorer. It makes a brilliant shine and makes all those surfaces easy wipe clean.
