I thought this was really unique in that it has a built-in Salt Shaker in addition to the double electrical outlet. Those kind of things always got my attention as a child.
I have never seen this before. The buttons are on the sides. That doesn't seem very safe to me. That would be the most likely spot to spill something. plus there is controls in like 4 places on this stove.
But it is still fun .
stainless steel front (which can easily be painted over with harvest gold paint). I have seen the TOL in this series. The consoles are HEAVY made of real steel.
I have never seen this type of 2nd level wash arm in a GE before. I just remember them having the power tower. Even my parents TOL 1985 electronic dishwasher had a center extending power tower.
I took pictures of the inside which had alot of blue shelving, but it was right before the memory filled up so I lost it.
It was interesting the large long magnet that was used to hold the doors shut. This was before they put magnets in the rubber seal.
I guess company management had a problem with stories of children being carelessly locked inside older models when playing that had an actual mechanical latch and were abandoned and then dying because of the smell of rotting jello and lard. ? hah ?
