Very interresting machine-it does look like one of Vita-mixes newer commercial "Bar Boss" blenders.like one of the older Bar Boss models. If I am reading it right from your picture-starting at the left-see a power switch-then a speed control dial-than a timer dial?Another question is- there a "NSF" label or sticker on the motor base or container?-this would mean its approved for commercial use.Does it say on the back of the motor base that it was built by the Vita-mix company in Cleveland,Ohio?I am wondering if it was a rare machine made up as a promotional item for a juice-smoothie company or for a commercial restuarant supplier under the"Alternative" name.

My guess is also that it's a rebadged Vita Mix for the Euro market. It's possible they changed the name to be more broadly understood in different languages. They sometimes do that in Canada on products using words/names that are the same or close in both English and French.

Thanks! The owner is very slow with information. This machine is only two months old. The picture is the only picture I have. Vitamix blenders are imported by a small company here. They sell them for €670.- which is around $800.- This guy is asking €200.- for it, so I guess that's not a bad price.
