Hello all,
After running perfectly for.... 30 years, my adult niece accidentally set fire to her food load damaging the oven's splash cover and (slightly) the stirrer.

The parts need to repair are:
D75440-1 Splash cover (NLA). (I can't believe this is NLA. Surely there is a market for this part!)
C88067-1 Stirrer/antenna (still available it seems however the original can be saved.)
C88437-1 "Percent timer" or variable power timer. (NLA) This timer is a little goofy as it changes cook percentages by itself. I'd like to replace it.

QUESTION:
Anyone out there have new or good-used Amana parts they would like to sell? Or is anyone parting out an RRL-7C (or similar RRL-5C / CRRL-5C). If so, give me a buzz.

FYI: Microwave oven repairing is dangerous and must only be done by qualified personnel. It so happens that I was the microwave oven service trainer for a large oven manufacturer and conducted microwave oven training seminars for big-box retailers. I am good, so don't worry about me. (Whew, got THAT out of the way!)

Oven still runs and doesn't leak.
Any and all help is appreciated. The poor kid is at college without her MWO and I'd like to fix this for her. Hey, but if is end-of-life so be it. 1983 - 2013 ain't too bad a run.

Thanks!

A Dry Comment:

"I can't believe this is NLA. Surely there is a market for this part!"

I'm sure there is a market for it.

But not supplying that market insures a larger market for new microwave ovens.

Have you forgotten who owns Amana now?

Yes I know.....

Yes it is pretty clear that supporting a part for 30 years is long enough and the manufacturer does need a new purchase once in a while to stay alive.
However, next to glass trays, cavity splash shields and waveguide covers are high on the consumption list. Usually if there is some interest in a part the manufacturer will carry it.
Trust me, I am not gonna cry in my (cold) soup without repair parts. I was just hoping..... You know....

Probably not the right unit, but...

...would an RRL-9TB be of use? I'm looking to donate this to someone for parts...it works, but doesn't heat...and one of the number keys doesn't seem to work. If any internal parts would help, well...I'm in Atlanta. As for anyone else - it's available, for parts. I won't send it to the recyclers.
