Lets see-are you SURE you want to get rid of your old appliances for what is it $10 each?Sounds like a rook to me.Wise use of an older machine will save energy-and save over scrapping the old ones that still operate.For what they are doing will KEEP my old machines!And they will last longer than some new ones that will be dump bait in a few years.
