I apologize if this sounds cruel, BUT

Those look unnatural, beyond the Pepto-pink color. Any value they had as collectibles has been lost with the paint job. That is just too much pink. That set would probably cause a recovering psychiatric patient to have a screaming relapse. Honor your other half's taste and don't waste your money on a paint job that probably would not hold up in everyday use. The set would be left in the dollar box at the end of an estate sale.

I started off with an apology and I will end with one, but no, don't go there.

Yeah, that shade of Pink is obnoxious. A more Coral shade would be better.
