I remember that kitchen at 7:35 was in an 80s Sunset Kitchen magazine. My aunt had given us some old magazines and that was one of them. I loved that kitchen.

7:46 Thank God curly hair went out of style, that was never a good look on the ladies.

I still don't get how in the 1970s...and 80s...we ever thought those dark colors were a good thing...I'm talking about paneled walls..dark wood cabinets or dark colors all combined...I remember a lot of the rooms felt so dark back then because of this...everything is so much brighter now..Yes, I know some people still have wood and that's fine...even my kitchen from 2004 has those fake wood cabinets which I'm not thrilled about

We had the Presto Popcorn Now too Glenn, andI agree with you it made lousy popcorn.

I still have a Cuisinart Food Processor like the one in the video that David got for me in 1982. It was a very expensive gift at the time. I hardly ever use it, its more trouble to clean it than any time it saves in preparation.

Our cabinets in the kitchen are dark wood, the house was built in 1980 and the cabinets are the originals, I like them. They’re easy to maintain, just polish them with some Old English once in a while.

I had a Mr. Coffee like the one in the video, it made very good coffee.

Oh and we still have vertical blinds on the sliding door in the dining room. Retro and old fashioned I know, but easy to maintain, not much dust and easy to control the amount of light let into the room. And easy to have the entire window uncovered for max daylight. Plus they are inexpensive and easy to replace when you want a quick facelift for the window.

Never had a Trash Compactor, always seemed kind of unnecessary to me.
