for sure this is made-in-italy ... its ratings plate is written in italian.
Find so strange some of these machines were even Indesit badged, cause Merloni (Vittorio/Ariston, not Antonio/Servis) bought Indesit later (in 1985) and in mid 80s here we had the Ariston Margherita series.
Maybe they kept older moulds/design and produced for foreign markets
