. . . because you had already spent the same amount on cheap ones?

Finally broke down and treated myself to a BROXO OraBrush ($145.ish with tax and free shipping), the 21st Century successor to the Squibb BROXODENT ("Because you brush with an ordinary toothbrush but you brrrrrush with a BRRRRROXODENT.") after realizing I was about to drop another $30.00 on Oral-B number six.

And you, world?

Broke my rule about always checking CR ratings before buying. Picked up what appeared to be a very good dehumidifier at no small cost and it was horrible. Checked CR, ordered the Frigidaire at the top of their ratings and it, of course, ran rings around the piece of crap I had purchased at Menards. Once finished grinding my teeth in anger, I could joke that I'd spent $380 on a dehumidifier.

That toothbrush is very interesting but a corded appliance just won't fit into my space or routine now.  Their scoring system is interesting, we're using Sonicare now and like them better than the Oral B moving brush.  Adding up the five or six units I've bought in the last two decades (two bathrooms) comes to far more than the price of two of these.   Food for thought.

Eugene, what model was the top rated Frigidaire dehumidifier?  I remember seeing them in the magazine issue (this spring?) but didn't save it.  As luck would have it, my LG estate sale bargain de-hum was pitched a couple of weeks ago.  What do you think of the new Frigidaire's noise level?

Theres been several things... I wound up paying $3500 more than i should have for my old car because I got impatiant...

Also several computer parts for my desk top, i've had to replace quickly and that was $800

Oh and hotel rooms off priceline that where so bad, mice and roaches wouldnt sleep there
