Thanks everyone for celebrating with me (us) - Terry is here for a couple of weeks before we head for Chicago and we had a good time last night. A little work, as usual on Tuesdays, and then a nice dinner and cupcakes at home. A friend of mine gave me a gift certificate for Christmas to a new, "family" owned bakery so we went in yesterday to order a cake. The certificate was for $25 so I figured I would have plenty to get a nice cake for Sunday dinner with family & friends here. Well, I was wrong. Apparently, the rent in the shop is rather high - a standard 8" layer cake is $32.50! We'll let you know how it tastes...judging by the cupcakes we had, it will be good.

Where did this "Glenda" come from? Ugh. Give me strength!
