I have a question if you would be so kind, and have any clue how to direct. Perhaps I should have e-mailed you. Anyway, do you know of a good store in Otown that sells used appliances? I don't know if either of you collect or where you go for yours. I called several places that I found numbers for in the phone book, but they only repair and do not sell. I'm looking for a portable washer and drier for my apartment and do not want to buy new ones. I just thought if either of you knew of a place you might be able to point me in the right direction.

Either way, thanks for you time :o)

There's a few on Edgewater Dr in Orlando that sell used appliances. There is also the Salvation Army store on Colonial Drive that carries some appliances. Portables are a little hard to find though, and I've not seen too many around. Craigslist has proved to be the better bet.

There are also several on Forsythe Road in Winter Park and Orlando. I don't know if they advertise, and are located in several of the industrial parks. I know exactly where they are, I just don't know the street names where they're located.

Your best bet for portables though is the Sears Outlet Store in Winter Park. I go there all the time and the portables are much, much cheaper then the retail store. It's kind of a fun place to shop. I've bought all my appliances there. Just e-mail me if you need directions to the used shops and I can try and figure out exactly where they are for you.

as usual....

I agree with Andrew...There is also this little Maytag, (Whirlpool) dealer off of 436 that sells new and reconditioned appliances.

Good Luck and feel free to email always..

well!

Thanks to you both for taking the time to respond. I used to sell vacs for Sears so it's always for to go to one. I will try that one in Winter Park and see what they've got. Thanks again!

Bobby-

Sears usually has 10 or 12 portables on the floor at the Outlet Store. If you let me and Shane know when you're going, we'll go with you! It's like a tiptoe through the tulips in there!

sounds good

Thanks for the offer. Maybe we should meet since we live so close anyway. (I'm actually in Clermont). Do you think I'd be able to get a set for under 500 bucks just off the top of your head?
