Our twinne only costs $30, but shipping was $140. IIRC these machines weigh in at about 100 pounds or so. If going to be shipped I recommend either a pallet or strong washing machine shipping that will keep the wheels safe. Ours arrived with a wheel or two poking through the box which were damaged.
On the lighter side, if the unit is well packed, it can be sent via UPS. Aside from the wheels, ours arrived via UPS with no problems.
You might wish to check out the other Hoover TT auction I posted as well, to compare units.
Pumps on Hoover twin tubs are their weakest point, or so I am told and now truly believe. You should ask the seller point blank if he/she has powered up the unit and will both sides hold water/does the pump leak. Another common problem with the metal tub twinnies is that the tub can develop leaks at seams.
Not trying to put you off, just trying to school you from my experience. If you do go for the unit, let me know if you need the manual.
Best of luck,
Launderess
