Another Maytag Opportunity

Nice, late 70's Maytag washer, but you have to buy the dryer, too. Not a bad price (actually dirt cheap), but probably remote for most of us. Seller seems to have abundant attitude.....

That washer is just a 'bit' more than 10 years old.Still,a pretty good deal.But who closes a summer home in January?

Hey, that pair is really close to me. Can anyone tell if the washer is a 608 or 208? The buttons are too fuzzy to tell. I have no use for the dryer-wouldn't give a nickel for anything that new! Would give anything for another 608!!

Looks like a 608 to me. It looks like four buttons for water level on far right - medium load button is depressed.

E-mailed the seller- it's a 208. Not my favorite, small capacity. There is a nice Almond 208 in the dump I think I might grab. Very rare to see any almond 08's.
