They are asking $200 OBO ("restored models sell for $1000+"). It does not cool. Actually the ad says "runs well but does not cool" - Uhmm, if it doesn't cool, is it really running well? I offered $25.00 if it is complete (drawers, shelves, etc).
I guess they don't realize how much time and money it can take to restore one to get that "$1000.00" fridge - then try to find someone who will pay you the $1000!
My '55 Frigidaire, counting materials (paint, sandpaper, primer), chrome plating, door gasket, etc. will run about $600 to restore (the chrome is the most expensive part).
