Looks like a personal import

Looking at the enlarged pics it appears the brand is Korting - which I have only ever seen on TVs before, way back in the 1970s. Looking at the other items it seems to my that someone has brought these over at some point from mainland Europe as the cooker is not of a style you generally get over here (and that small hotplate is a dead giveaway) and I dont recognise the fridge either. They are not cheap though, are they?

I think I'm right in saying

It's a Gorenje. Theres a similar one on youtube. Not sure if Gorenje is the original manufuacturer, or if they were just sold rebadged as Gorenje. I'm sure a continental member would be able to tell us more about it. :)

Gorenge

That Gorenge on youtube is really nice me thinks.....the control knobs on the one on ebay seem a bit out of place......hmm dunno.

The sprung loaded soap draw seems amusing aswell :-)

well for all that it should then be a very good machine.

This looks very much like a SIDEX branded machine I used in France many moons ago. I'm pretty sure that SIDEX and Gorenje are now linked.......

The SIDEX machine was very cheap and basic with a 375rpm spin induction drive, the look of this machine would intimate a similar spec to me. The filter is scarily familiar, I wish I could place it........

Koerting ----->> Gorenje

Koerting was a german brown appliances manufacturer. The slovenian co Gorenje bought Koertnig in 1979 ( source www.gorenje.it)

Enjoy the TOL Gorenje touchscreen washer. with the Asko W6903 ( aka Maytag 2002 in UK) are the only frontloaders that spin @ 2000 rpm. This Gorenje weights 100 kg and is said to have quite same build quality like a miele.
I haven't seen one yet cause Gorenje is quite rare in NW Italy, it's more popular in NE and Austria

For sure Ingemar (aka Gorenje) knows a lot more than me

Cheers
Carlo

Yes right this is a Gorenje machine, made by Gorenje in Slovenia. Carlo is right, Körting was bought by Gorenje in 1979 so this one has to be from 1981 when Gorenje was first launched in Great Britain. The brand Körting was used in some countries (Italy, Greece).
Today is used in Italy, Greece, Bolgaria and Germany. (and also in Slovenia for some BOL appliances) The brand Sidex was used in France since 1970 till 1992. It was a low price choice. Now, after the globalization of the corporate brand even in France is used Gorenje.
