I am sad to report though, that I mashed the trim plate on the front coming in my door.

 

See Chris, I told you I needed help with moving it.

Is it porcelain-covered?  At least you save it from the crusher and it can always be repainted!

No Phil, it's the lightweight piece of aluminum that surrounds the handle.  I am pretty upset, since it was way too much work to get it out.

Yes, in my opinion.  I know that it will be difficult to reshape that soft aluminum.  There are rolled edges on that panel.

I'll stick my neck out and bet there's a solution, it's just not front and center at the moment.

see I knew you would do it. cheers to you, now im sure there is a way to tinker with the trim to get it back or looking much better than you see it now send a pic. do the hard stuff now clean her up work on any leaks and will see to go next.
