ad: " I recently purchased this home and am remodeling the kitchen. If you're into nostalgia, this GE Americana "automatic" electric range might interest you. It's in good working order - except for one burner and the clock. The range has a rotisserie, meat thermometer, overhead light, exhaust fan, self-cleaning oven, bottom storage drawer. It was definitely top of the line in its day. Also includes the user's manual which shows the date of purchase is 1967. I wish appliances built today would last that long! 30"W x 27"D x 74"H. $75 OBO "

These Are....

Such beautiful ranges! I only wish they didn't have the exclusive-to-GE PyroKitty pushbutton controls for the burners.

Nothing would ever have happened with my sweet departed Tony, but with my new kitty friend, Marty?

One day and the house would be a heap of ashes.

I think..

One of these would be a viable option for me, I like those pushbuttons, I dont have a cat, but it would be easy to make a sheet metal cover for them if you did have.

I haven't ever seen one of these except in photos, and from here, they look like fine jewelry - I mean compared to many stoves. I would like to see better photos - does any aw.org member have one of these to possibly show off? thanks
