Finally had some time to go thrifting and antiquing!! I found this wonderful green Osterizer with it's cover on the floor in this antique mall in Banning. The cover is going to get cleaned of course. The writing is faded but it says Osterizer Spin Cookery. The blender itself was so clean. Just needs a q-tip between the buttons!

Martin,

What were you doing in my kitchen and laundry room cupboards? We have 2 of that exact same model and color, one is my wife's, the other was her Mom's.

I just had to save it!

It was sitting on the floor of the antique mall. On the floor!! Didn't even have a place to sit on the shelf! The first Osterizer i ever saw that was not a beehive! It was so different. Of course then i started to notice the square based blenders everywhere!

Aren't the three orange buttons the automatic pulse settings? Contratulations on your find. I remember the put downs pink and turquoise received when Harvest and Avocado (could it be related to abogado?) came on the scene. Now the two earlier colors are prized by some collectors. I wonder how long it will take the two newer colors to reach such status?

Cool find. love the Avacodo Brady-blender.
I saw the picture come up first before reading what you wrote and the first thing I thought was- It is from the Brady Bunch. :o)
