Heart-wrenching story... This past Saturday I was making a banana-mint smoothie in my late-'60s Waring blender (cloverleaf jar, black lid, avocado base) when the jar started leaking. After finishing my conniption fit, I discovered that the bottom seal had crumbled (into my drink). Because the jar is solid glass, with no detachable bottom, I need to replace the whole jar. The final prices on eBay are out of my range.
It's embarrassing to ask, but can any of you friendly appliance folks spare a glass Waring cloverleaf jar with a "wagon wheel" drive? (And good seals?)
