Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

My linens are a mix of IKEA duvet covers, and pillow cases and fitted sheets from Company Store, Lands End, and LL Bean. Fitted sheets and pillow cases are mostly solids, pastels to darker colors but no bright designs. Duvets are subdued stripes or prints. I wash everything on warm and they come out fine. Because of today's oversized fitted sheets, even if there is some shrinkage it won't affect me, as my bed is an older 12" mattress with a 3" memory foam overlay from Costco, i.e. 15" total, which is SMALL by modern standards. Have never had any fit issues. I sometimes wash bottom sheets and pillowcases on Hot along with towels (to make a full load) and no problems whatsoever.

I have only used Ikea bedding over the past 5 years and have to say it is the best value, yet best quality out there as long as you get the 100% cotton ones.

I'm not sure if they sell it in the US, but here their 100% cotton linen is sold under the "Dvala" range, and you are pretty hard beat to find better quality or value for money.

They hot wash and high heat tumble dryer with no problem.

I pretty much buy all of my sheets at Ikea these days. I have black and dk. grey sets that are all washed at 60 with Persil colour and ammonia. No colour fading after 2-3 years and still look great. Most importantly, they're holding up well. Now they're not the softest sheets, but I don't use softener. Then again, I don't like Sateen sheets anyway, they feel clammy to me.
I buy the white for my massage linens. They get washed 4-5 times a week in 150 F water with TWB or a combo of detergent and AFB on the heaviest cycle. I usually double up the detergent to get the massage cream out. They usually last me about two yrs with that kind of treatment. I agree, they're a good value for the money.
