Just wondering if anyone watches American Idol and what you think of it? I kinda get hooked on it each season, usually after the horrible audition phase.

I am hooked
I started watching the second season. I have truly enjoyed it every year. I dont call in and vote as much anymore. But I do enjoy seeing the competition and the talent. Especially after they get down to the top 12.<p> LOL! my favorite "bad" audition this year was RHONETTA! I loved it when they put her name in sparkles on the tv screen and echoed her name RHONETTA! several times. LOL she had said: 6 of my F*ing psychic friends told me I was gonna be famous!" Well honey you are! millions of people saw your name up in lights! HA <p> Two of my friends and I call each other after each segment and with 3-way calling discuss the idol wannabees and who we think is doing well. <p> I am NOT watching the results show on Thursday nights though, as it would intefere with Survivor. THAT is not allowed

The 3 night shows with the results show on Thurs is almost too much. Basically, you know who's going to go that week anyway. Ronetta was a trip. I'm not sure I can handle the judge's antics anymore either. Remeber the Russian (or whatever she was) girl who auditioned who was awful? How about the one who quit her job & Simon called her boss & got it back after she lost for her.
