I have a Rowenta Surfline iron that I got brand new when I was just 19. I love it... I love just owning a Rowenta (how fun is that to say... a name that stands for German quality, yay!) and I love the powerful blast of steam. I have some burned on gunk around the steam holes and I don't know how to get it off. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I was using some mothers metal polish on the sole plate and I accidentally got some on the word "Surfline" and it took off the S. This really upsets me. I hate it when the writing gets rubbed off appliances, cars, or anything, and this iron is only 5 years old. Is there any type of gray plastic paint I could use to "recreate" it? Excuse the dirty sink, my GE portable just finished a load
) Also, excuse the blurry picture, I can't find my camera cable so I had to take pictures with my PDA, yuck! Thanks for any suggestions!
