Anyone looking for a 61 Kenmore dryer?

I found this beauty at a local estate sale this morning. It was full of stuff so there is a 5% chance the washer is too (though I didn't see it in my searching). Let me know if interested and I'll point you in the right direction.

Get us some pics of the controls. I have a 1960 electric Kenmore dryer, it has the truly best low heat of any dryer in my collection.

Sure, I will take a photo shoot over the next few days after I get it cleaned up. It does have lighted controls.

memories

of my rebuild------I added new/extra felt gasketing between the machine top and the lint filter chute, to keep the hot air down in that chute, where it should be, instead of escaping into the cabinet against the top. It reduced the top from a stove hot metal to just warm to the touch, and all the exhaust goes out the rear pipe as it was meant to. Everything has been fine on that machine since.
