Hi all!
I was wondering if somebody recognizes the washing machines in these two pictures:

Any help is greatly appreciated.

best regards
Mark

I have seen Norge wringers with the blue speckled porcelain tubs on the white bases, but there were probably others that looked like that. The second machine looks like it has a Lovell wringer, but there were many brands that used their wringers.

These two examples do point out the styling modes of wringer washers: those with the full skirt like the possible Norge on the left and those with legs like the machine on the right, which could be a Kenmore, based solely on the shape of the legs which I think I remember from a photo in a CU report on wringer washers in a pre-WWII issue.

The one on the right seems to have a stainless steel wringer. Does that say something about the age, or have they always been available?

BTW, Lehmans still sells the in Saudi Arabia made Home Queen, based on the design of the Speed Queen. They used to have several models, even a gas engine powered one IIRC, there is only one model left now, a 120V one.
