This was marketed around the same time as the three door with the cassette player/recorder.
(I'd say 1973 or so).
I was just thinking...all this innovation couldn't save Frigidaire...just like all the innovation couldn't save Maytag, although most of Frigidaire's engineering was still sound.
That's totally neato! I remember my aunt had one of those. She rarely ever used anything other than the ice and water dispensers. I always thought that these were White-Frigidaires, and not GM's. I'm sorry I didn't grab that from her when she replaced it a few years back!
Kenny, that is a great looking fridge! I do not recall those, or any model with a tape deck/radio in it. Guess I wasn't paying attention to appliances in the 70's. :<
FPE 20T JR / 92AB5628 tells me it's a 1979,probably one of the last GM Frigidaires. I'll pretty sure I'll keep it,but really don't know where right now.
This unit must have had a good run. I remember it well, but I know I saw advertisements for it long before 1979. I remember the 3 door side by sides and tape deck ones too.
I did find a manual for one, although i think it's the last one (or one of the last) made of it..
Question: IS the compartment that holds the juice containers refrigerated as well (i would assume so)?
