Our second "modern" dishwasher since we moved back to Illinois ~10 years ago died on us awhile back. It's probably just as well, because these junkers never did clean the dishes anyway, they were more like a dish autoclave that you would only use after you washed them in the sink anyway... I am fed up w/the electronic junk and want to get one like we had in our house in Ohio. It was a bit of a ugly duckling: a pushbutton type Kitchenaid "made by hobart", but it actually worked, and we never had any problems with it. I am not opposed to other brands, but I want something that actually scrubs off the dishes and is known to be a reliable model. If there is someone out there that is looking to get rid of something that fits this description, please let me know. I live in the Peoria area - willing to travel if you have have a deal worth travelling for. ;o)
