Early Zanussi's are a major weak point of mine, with no one in my family owning any of the early ones.
That mysetry machine i posted is a major tease, as it is the very one that appears on the front of many of their instruction manuals, including the Sl26T!
I have a feeling that it is an early 1970's model.
When did Zanussi arrive on UK shores?
Could it be their first UK washing machine?

just been and checked the advert from which that mystery machine came from.
It was dated 1974.
Also on sale was the compact toploader Zanussi P5.
Hope this is useful.

First UK Zanussis
Early 70s sounds about right to me. I'd have to do a bit more digging around.
The first model in the UK was the DL22, however, this has the filter on the left and is a different shape.
I think your mystery machine is either a DL4 or a DL6. Neither have any option buttons but have the filter in the correct place. DL4 had a single level pressure switch, cold fill only and a 380??rpm spin. DL6 had a two level pressure switch, hot and cold fill and a 520rpm spin. Instruction manuals for all three models are on Serviceforce.
I hope i've not got any more numbers wrong, I'm getting tired!

thats where i will be heading, as I am knackered too.
Its exhausting trying to learn all these early Zanussi's.
Must be even more tiring trying to teach it, especially at such a late hour.
I probably wont be able to sleep though, for mulling it all over and over in my head.

I've had another look this morning before I head off to work and I've found the exploded parts diagrams for the DL4 and DL6. As you can see, both the control panels match the mystery machine.

Thanks Tom, for all the info above.
I have moved the mystery machine from the 'unidentified' folder and christened it 'ZANUSSI DL4(Cold) & DL6(H&C)'.
No way of telling which machine it really is, as i assume they were visually identical from the front.
The exploded diagrams will most definately come in useful, when the repair time comes.

Have added the final vid in my possession - the loaded spin.
A very lumpy load of towels and a dressing gown.
Was very impressed with the way it balanced the load - I expected a lot more fuss.
Told you it was a boring video!

I do not have lumpy towels! LOL
That load only finished drying today aswell despite being on a clothes horse infront of the dining room radiator.
Dont think il be tumble drying much out of that machine somehow.
Was weird having a bath then getting wrapped up in a towel that was strongly smelling of Lenor. The scent really does linger with the extended drying time.
