APHIDS!

I am having a real issue with these pests on my eggplant and pepper plants. I have tried dish soap and water, Dr. Earth Final Stop,  <span id="productTitle" class="a-size-large product-title-word-break" style="font-size: 12pt;">Ortho Insect Mite & Disease 3-in-1, nothing has stopped them. They kind of die off a bit, but come roaring back like in 3 days. They specially infest the eggplant flowers. Anyone know of a good remedy? Thank you in advance. </span>

I would have thought Vinegar or Peroxide...

usually mixed with 3 parts water....

vinegar gets sprayed on the plants....

Peroxide gets poured on the soil....

at this point, you may need a combination of a few things to get rid of them.....they seem to be getting immune to some insecticides...

Thanks Martin. I will certainly try it. It sure seems like they have become immune. There were a couple of Lady Bugs feasting, but I would need an army of them to finish off these pests. It's stunning how they multiply.

Have you tried Tea Tree oil?

Neem oil ......

is supposed to be a good option for aphids and safe for crop plants.

Ladybugs

Here in California, I used to see containers of live ladybugs for sale at the local garden store. Check your local nursery or garden shop. They will make short work of the aphids.

Ladybugs are a great idea.

The only gotcha is that they tend to fly off when released and land in somebody else's yard. A solution may be to let some go in all the neighbors' yards as well as one's own.

An update. Martin's suggestion seems to have worked. While they are not entirely gone, there is a big improvement. Now if I could only keep the flowers from wilting and falling off before they get a chance to become eggplants. I have used "Blossom Set" and I do have bee's, so they are getting pollinated.
