I HAD ONE OF THOSE!! It would have been circa 1987 or '88. I was living in a 4-plex, and sold it (and it's dryer mate) when I moved to a tiny one-bedroom apt. with no laundry hookup. I believe Frigidaire only sold them for a year or two. This FL'er disappeared quickly from their laundry line-up. I was told it was because of Frigidaire's purchase by Electrolux, and that they were coming up with an all-new front-load design; which they eventually did, of course.
It was most certainly a White-Westinghouse. Still had the solenoid SNAP when going into the spin cycle. No balancing protocol, so when the load wasn't balanced, there was a lot of slam-banging as it ramped up to speed. No reverse-tumbling or anything like that. Had a tub light.
The dispenser on top was nice. When I bought a stackable White-Westy pair a couple of years later (under the Gibson name), I had to add bleach/fabric softener manually, which was inconvenient.
