I dream of a baby blue sky, pink flowers, and harvest gold leaves, but all I get today, is modern grey sky, and white snow.

ANYTHING but ALMOND. I HATE Almond appliances. The landlord's stove and refrigerator are Almond, and I despise them. My other major appliances, which I own, washer, dryer, and dishwasher are White.

Harvest gold, pink, turquoise, avocado green, are my favs. White is classy, not a very big fan of almond, and I like poppy red a lot too.

Have to say that almond is just about the last color one would pick, maybe people who pick almond coloured appliances are trying to be different in their own way. I think Steve McQueen started the trend towards almond appliances and chocolate brown cars.

Avacado and Poppy Red for me. I do like some stainless things as well and some of the blue shades I see on newer machines, nice color but I wouldn't have the new machines.
Havest Gold, Poppy Red, Almond, Black, Sherwood Green, Seafoam Green, Turqoise and some of the vairous shades of Coppertone. I don't really like white; avocado is marginal, and I despise pink of any shade. I really like stainless steel on vintage appliances from the 50s & 60s. I do not like at all the modern stainless steel look.

My favourite colors are snowcrest white, turquoise, black, red, copper and brushed chrome.
Phil, I love the Flair and the fridge. what do ya have for a dishwasher in such a fine lookin kitchen of appliances?

Unfortunately, I don't have one for the moment! But that might change soon! I wish I had a set of GM Frigidaire washer/Dryer set too!

exactly like mine, complete with those 4 little squares on the top of the hood (on the chrome). i am still wondering what they are for.
my flair has been baking all day, turkey, pie, and now a loaf of bread!

The 4 little squares are bumpers for the oven doors! Just lift them up while the hood lid is closed and look!
And it might not be exactly like yours. Mine is a Canadian model (RCIB-645C) so it lacks the "speed heat" burner and the fuses are in a panel in the base cabinet.
There were also some differences between the early ones and the later models. The 1960 models had a blue "Flair" badge on the oven door and the door actuating mechanism used cables and pulleys. The later models (mine is from very late 1961 or early 1962 and it was sold new in April of 1962) have a black Flair badge like the newer RCIB 645-2 models and large springs directly attached to the oven door hinges instead of cables.
My refrigerator with brushed chrome doors is from 1963 and it's also a Canadian model. I also have a similar white refrigerator from 1964.
Now, I'd like to find a set of washer/dryer to match these but I've been searching locally without success!

Phil - not to drift this thread, but you have a beautiful Wildcat! Had no idea you could get cruise on anything but a deuce and a quarter in '65. Also enjoyed the cruise photos. Your friend's Riv is equally as stunning.

Thanks Ben! I also have a 1975 Electra with a dashboard that would have matched well with the 1-18 washer that you sold! ;-)
