I need help solving a puzzle with my vintage yellow appliances. I have been searching online for the manufacture year of my GE wall oven and matching cooktop. From what I can tell the cooktop is probably 1957.
Serial:JP7601YE
The oven on the other hand has me wondering because it just doesn’t look that old (photo attached) and the serial # has 3 letters instead of 2.
Serial; DAC07595
I bought the appliances from someone who was gutting their old kitchen so the appliances all came from the same kitchen. Also can someone tell me the power requirements for the cooktop and the oven? We appreciate all help.

It's safe to say the oven is from between '64 and '67. That handle style was introduced around '64, and Canary Yellow replaced by Harvest after '67. Lawrence (Pulltostart) will like be able to tell you a more exact date.

The number you gave for the cooktop sounds like the model, not the serial.

Age

I believe that wall oven is a 1964 model, likely the cooktop is the same.  That's a "Dinner Dial" oven - one of GE's nicer models.  If I'm correct the wall oven model number is JC16Y, and the cooktop model number will be JP76Y.

There is a pdf copy of the 1964 GE appliance catalog available in this website's library.  It can be downloaded for a small fee.

Lawrence,
Thank you so much for the reference to the ‘64 products catalog. We not only were able to find our oven and cooktop, but also our SD-400 dishwasher. It also contained size diagrams that we will need for the installations which was a BIG bonus. All 3 were 1964.
