What kind of appliances do you see at churches, commercial or residential type?

Around here it seems to depend on the size. The church I went to didn't have a kitchen, and most food was brought in with roasting ovens or chafing dishes.

I notice a lot of the bigger Baptist churches tend to have fellowship halls. The larger ones tend to have American Range gas stoves with burners, a griddle and two ovens and maybe a commercial refrigerator. Smaller churches tend to have a residential style kitchen with cabinets and a 30" electric range and refrigerator.

The local Methodist church has the most equipment I've seen, it has a gas range with 6 burners, a fryer and a convection oven. Another church has an Alto Shaam warming oven and a gas Imperial range.

I'm guessing the older/more established churches will tend to have the most interesting kitchen stuff, because they tended to have larger/older buildings.

My (Episcopal) parish has a second-hand Wolf commercial range with 6-8 burners, griddle, and two ovens (either 36" or 40" each, not sure). Commercial double door fridge. A commercial dishwasher was purchased when the space was renovated c. 2001, but it overwhelmed the century-old plumbing and had to be sold off. The griddle occupies about half the width of the unit: now you know where the Shrove Tuesday pancakes come from.

Our Catholic Church has an 8 burner/2 oven SouthBend gas range, a 40” True refrigerator, 4 slot gas steam table, a 40” gas griddle, 2 gas fryers(we don’t use)
Also have an Admiral refrigerator and a Kenmore freezer.
We also have several electric roasters.

The Baptist church

I attended as a kid had a 56 Frigidaire range in the kitchen,as well as a big flat top Hotpoint and a Hotpoint deep fryer all from the 50s.

My church has two kitchens. One large one attached to the church hall that has a professional gas griddle top range, a great big full sized professional freezer and refrigerator. That one is used for big community dinners and weddings and other large church functions. The smaller kitchen is attached to the parlor and it has standard consumer appliances, but two of each, all Maytag. We just completed a remodel on our 100 year old building that redid the smaller kitchen. Before there was just a fridge and a sink. I’m United Methodist, at least for now since I’m part of the Western conference that strongly disagrees with the recent anti-LGBTQ decision that the general church made and we may splinter off. I can’t imagine church without food. There’s always food.

The synagogue in Israel that I go to has an old American GM/Frigidaire in Harvest Gold beside a newer white Israeli brand, both w/ freezer on top, that if not for it being Yom Tov, I would've liked to have taken pics of...

And seeing as how more religious the highest-mostsect of Judaism is that you can't have a light go on/off on the sabbath and holy days, than to me, other religions seem to be, there are no light bulbs in either unit, which would be in the refrigerated section...

A synagogue in North Carolina, has a Hotpoint electric range & fridge, from the '70's/'80's, of which I'd long-forgotten which of the two, as of the last visit there, long ago, had gotten replaced...

Other than that, churches and Jewish temples I'd seen kitchens of just have commercial cooking & refrigeration, at least from right now, all I can recall off the top o' my head...
