I saw this movie the other night and the opening struck me as super cool as they show a lot of public domain footage, some of which we've seen on YouTube, but others I'm sure I haven't seen as of yet. It sure would be cool to find these to see the full version of these public domain films...

I remember seeing this movie

and those opening scenes. (Loved the character Bette Midler played.) I recall the scene with the flat-front Westy Laundromat, but looking at the photo (number 7) I noticed the washer and dryer are not a matched set. Didn't catch that in the movie. Also, in that same photo, what is that thing in front of the stacked coppertone ovens? It almost looks like a modern Asian twintub.
