Are these Maytags early dependable cares or one of the other early 90's orbital driven Maytags?

Orbital for sure!

We have that model washer, and I am 10 feet away from it as I type this. It was left by the elderly woman who owned the house before us. This model is early 90s orbital, perhaps 1993. Agitator has the fins on the shaft and it washes with the short fast stroke.

Very very beginning of the white panels. By 1994 all but the bottom models had white panels. Mid line models like these used knobs instead of buttons for water temp and water level. And the larger drum opening with the new (snap on) plastic tub cover was introduced.
