Prewash on Delicates...

Henene4, I was thinking about what you said regarding the prewash on the 'Delicate' cycle, and it dawned on me that although this option is not selectable on the dedicated delicate program on most machines, you can still obtain something similar by tweaking the Synthetic's cycle. For example, in my Hoover Nextra, I can use the Synth's with prewash, and by adding the 'Fast Iron' option it will transform the cycle into Delicate, yet keeping the prewash. The main wash might still be too long for a Delicate cycle, so, a further option (time saver) would make it almost identical to a Delicate program.

B.t.w. congratulations for the new purchase... maybe you can include some pictures ;-)

So far

looks like some sort of Beko, but keep posting those pictures, I feel really challenged now!

How does it look like a Beko? I just said ASKO for the sake of it. From the picture it could be absolutely anything. If it is an ASKO fess up and send me the money Mr 'I hate Panasonic'.

Panasonic used to make really good appliances. I still have a juicer that's already over 30 years old and still working. They used to sell washers, dryers, tvs, you name it and their products were pretty good. Sounds to me that their German staff would benefit from some training in customer service etiquette.

I know they make and have made good products...

... but if somebody calls us a liar without a reason, thanks, but thanks no. And the washer was amazingly good. But this is just too much.
Anyway: No, not an Asko. I guess I wouldn't even know where to get one right now.
Beko: No, not after all this one had (belive it or not) a better price to value ratio in terms of specific data and service.

60€ refund!

The seller contacted us, and for that damage we would geht either a 60€ refund or a new machine. We'll probably take the refund as long as they can ensure us that this damage does not touch our warranty.
It ran 2 cycles so far, 3rd is just started. First has been the cleaning cycle, the second has been a load of rugs at 95° with prewash, cottons of cause, and now I have started the 3rd cycle, Cottons 60° with added rinsing power and a load of towels.
And now, the todays hint: It has a delicates cycle.
And here's the hint-picture of today:

By the way: 60 Euros refund on such an expensive machine?! I got 80 Euros refund on my half as expensive Siemens dryer that was delivered with two tiny scratches...

BAUKNECHT.

I browsed otto.de (a German retailer) and Bauknecht's detergent drawer looks just like that. So I'm betting on Whirlpool, Bauknecht or privileg.

IKEA also sell the awfull Flexidose version with the filter inside the drum, if its not that one you did get.¨

Bingo!

You're absolutley right, logixx! It's a Bauknecht! In fact, a Bauknecht Super Eco 6414. And I like it! So far, it's cleaning-results are pretty good! Cleaned a white kitchentowel stained with tomatos and other stuff in less than 2h completly clean!
60€ down on a washer that was delivered, has 4 years warranty, had been already reduced by 5% and than was here in 2 days, were OK with that!
And quality-wise, you feel it isn't the most stable, especially the buttons are kind of wobbly. But I really like what I saw so far!
